Breakfast All Day Podcast 11/8/22

We’ve got a bite-sized but meaty morsel of Breakfast All Day for you midweek with our early review of “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.” Alonso and I have a spoiler-free discussion of the much-anticipated sequel to “Black Panther,” but join us Saturday Nov. 12 at 4 pm PST at our YouTube channel where we’ll go live (for the first time!) with an in-depth spoiler discussion. You can find us here. We also review the “Weird: The Al Yankovic Story,” a hilarious parody of the music biopic about the king of parody songs. It’s streaming on The Roku Channel. Come back Friday for reviews of “The Fabelmans,” “Spirited” and “Falling for Christmas.” And thanks as always for sharing your time with us.

  1. I looked, and alas there is no Roku app that you can install on an Android TV. There are various jerry rigs and work arounds but no simple way to directly watch programs available from Roku.

Nor, as far as I can tell, is there a web site that gives you direct access to Roku programs.

There are devices that you can attach to your TV. The cheapest one costs only $18.

And there is an app you can install on your Android or Apple phone. But all the app appears to do is let you use your phone as a remote control for your Roku device. So, that doesn’t let you eliminate the need for a Roku device either.

Please let me know if I am missing something. I would really like to watch the Yankovic movie. It sounds like a hoot.
