RogerEbert.com — Monster

A tremendous cast can only do so much with paper-thin characters and a frustrating narrative structure in “Monster.” The long-delayed drama stars Kelvin Harrison Jr. as a young man with a bright future who’s wrongly charged with murder after a Harlem bodega killing. It’s unfortunately all-too relevant but it’s also clunky. My mixed review, at RogerEbert.com.
