Breakfast All Day Podcast: A La Carte With Madeleine Brand

One of my favorite jobs of the many jobs I do is going on KCRW’s “Press Play” to talk movies on Friday mornings with the great Madeleine Brand. This time, I got to turn the tables and ask her the questions. Eventually we will have a conversation that doesn’t involve mics and headphones! Madeleine and I talk about growing up in Los Angeles, her many years as a reporter and anchor at NPR, how the Trump presidency has changed the way she approaches her show and her activities outside the studio, which include painting.
