As you surely can tell from this photo, “Venom: Let There Be Carnage” is insane — but that’s what makes it such a superior sequel. It’s as if everyone involved realized that the silliness was the strength of the 2018 original and leaned into that, hard. I laughed a lot and you (hopefully) will, too.
