“The Huntsman: Winter’s War” is for people who liked “Frozen” but thought it wasn’t angry enough. It’s a sorta-prequel, sorta-sequel to 2012’s “Snow White and the Huntsman” and it’s a total mess. The costumes are gorgeous, though. My 1 1/2-star RogerEbert.com review. Read the review here
“John Wick” is very much in Keanu Reeves’ wheelhouse. It’s a stylishly cool, dazzlingly choreographed action thriller that allows him to play on his stoic, Zen-like persona but also whip out a deadpan one-liner with detached precision. My RogerEbert.com review. Read the review here
The texts are coming from inside the plane! The semi-annual Liam Neeson Festival of Ass-Kicking is back. This time, he plays a troubled air marshal who receives threatening text messages during a trans-Atlantic flight from New York to London. The “fasten seat belts” sign definitely is on.
