RogerEbert.com — Actress

Actress Movie ReviewThe documentary “Actress” blurs the line between reality and performance in following its subject, former actress Brandy Burre, a mother of two trying break back into the business. Director Robert Greene takes a look at this inherently dramatic woman in ways that are both unadorned and artful. My RogerEbert.com review.

  1. Christy, as a huge movie fan and also a web page designer, I need to offer a suggestion to make your web site much easier to read on-screen. Please maintain high contrast between your text and your background. In other words, use dark colors for all your text and links so that they stand out clearly against such a severely-white background. It’s very hard to see your light-colored links and somewhat hard to read your text as they are now.

As for movies, I was surprised that I liked The Interview as much as I did. Other Seth Rogen films had feeble humor at most, but I found the level of humor in this film to be consistent and funny enough to enjoy. I rated this film at 2.5 stars.
